After the Kazakh steppes and their capital Astana we just had a blast coming into Russia. Omsk and Novosibirsk are quite beautiful cities, but the Altai region is just special. The two cities are quite modern and we enjoyed city life and a washing machine. It was just a short stopover because our friends, the Weltreise-WG were waiting for us with beer and BBQ. So after a quick pit stop getting new tires we made our way down quickly to Gorno Altaisk. Well there is not much to say… trekking, enduro, 4wheelers, beer from tab everywhere …you name it! It’s all there.
